The Kia EV9 has emerged as a major winner at the prestigious 2024 World Car Awards, securing both the coveted World Car of the Year and World Electric Vehicle titles.
Chosen by a jury of 100 automotive journalists from 29 countries, the EV9 stood out for its innovative design, spacious seven-seat interior and competitive pricing. Underpinned by Kia's E-GMP platform and fourth-generation battery technology, the EV9 impressed with its performance capabilities.
The double victory marks Kia's fourth and fifth wins at the World Car Awards since 2020, following previous successes with the Telluride, Soul EV and EV6 GT models. Established in 2003, the awards are globally renowned for recognizing excellence and leadership in the rapidly evolving automotive industry.
