The redesigned 2027 Kia Seltos brings pricing, three powertrain choices, and a completely revised six-trim lineup to the subcompact SUV segment. Starting at $28,495 MSRP, the new Seltos is larger inside than the model it replaces, with a longer wheelbase, more rear legroom, and a technology suite that now includes up to nearly 30 inches of combined screen space.
For the first time, Seltos buyers can also choose a hybrid powertrain, and it arrives with a feature that’s a first for Kia on a hybrid SUV: available electric all-wheel drive. Here’s what separates each trim, and what’s still to come.
LX FWD 2.0L: $28,495 MSRP
The entry point into the 2027 Seltos lineup pairs the 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with Kia’s Intelligent Variable Transmission for 147 hp and 132 lb-ft of torque. Even at this price, the LX comes with a substantial list of standard equipment.

EX AWD 2.0L: $33,495 MSRP
The EX brings the 2.0-litre engine’s easily attainable features together as standard, including a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic air conditioning with a 5-inch display, built-in navigation, a power liftgate, and Digital Key. Highway Driving Assist and a Surround View Monitor add a further layer of driver support.
EX Premium AWD 2.0L: $36,795 MSRP
The EX Premium sits at the top of the 2.0-litre range, rounding out the technology and comfort features available with the naturally aspirated engine before the lineup shifts to the turbocharged 1.6-litre powertrain.
X-Line AWD 1.6T: $39,295 MSRP
The turbocharged 1.6-litre engine develops 195 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission for quicker acceleration than the 2.0-litre models. X-Line trims add their own distinct look and cabin.

A Hybrid Is Coming
Rounding out the lineup is a hybrid powertrain, a first for the Seltos nameplate. It pairs a 1.6-litre four-cylinder hybrid engine with a 6-speed dual clutch transmission, and front-wheel drive is standard. Available electric all-wheel drive, a Kia first on a hybrid SUV, adds on-demand traction without the fuel economy trade-off of a traditional mechanical AWD system. The Seltos Hybrid is expected to arrive by the end of 2026, with official fuel economy figures and pricing to follow closer to its on-sale date.
